I was approached by Steve at Boom7 to assist in designing expo graphics for one of his clients, Matrix Polymers. Upon receiving their brand guidelines and conducting a comprehensive analysis of their website, social media channels, and tone of voice, I delved into the 'brief' provided by Matrix Polymers.

To my surprise, the brief was challenging to decipher, as is often the case with client documents. It required extensive effort, akin to a codebreaker, to decipher thePowerPoint presentation with images amalgamated from various banners and designs used by Matrix in previous years. Despite these challenges, I adopted a very literal interpretation of their requirements and, in addition, infused some creative liberties to develop the layouts and designs showcased below.

Undoubtedly, the completion of this project was met with astonishment from both Steve and Matrix. They expressed their satisfaction with the finished product, highlighting my ability to not only meet but exceed expectations. This project underscored my capacity to interpret client needs, even when unspoken or challenging to articulate – a skill that, while not explicitly mentioned in the designer's toolkit, remains integral to delivering exceptional results.
