The HITREDS philosophy, encompassing Honesty, Integrity, Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline, and Sportsmanship, was established by Doug Bridgman, a pivotal member of the mini-junior leadership team at Kettering Rugby Club. Engaged by Kettering Rugby Club to contribute to the creation of a commemorative T-shirt, I collaborated on a design aimed at commemorating Doug's remarkable contributions to the club. Drawing inspiration from an original hand-drawn typeface that adorned KRFC branding during Doug's initial association with the club, we conceived the idea of subtly revealing it beneath the current typeface. This concept symbolizes the enduring nature of the philosophy over time, underscoring that it will remain an indelible hallmark of the club—a perpetual tribute to Doug's lasting impact.
